Caring reminder: This page mentions suicide and may feel emotionally painful for some people
The Spahr Center is building a new program, and we want LGBTQIA+ youth in Marin County to lead the way!
We are building a LGBTQIA+ Youth Advisory Council of 20 youth who will serve as visionaries and creators of a multi-media youth suicide prevention awareness and resource campaign. The theme of the campaign is: When I love me, I love you.
As a participant of this leadership group, LGBTQIA+ youth will:
Lead the design, creation, and implementation of a media campaign with support from The Spahr Center staff
Learn leadership, media, and prevention skills
Earn a community advocate certificate highlighting your leadership in the LGBTQIA+ youth community of Marin
Earn community service hours
Participate in a culminating, end of the year celebration.
